Baker Built Frenchies isn’t a business- it’s a family affair! We breed and raise french bulldogs 2-3x a year as a family. It’s not an easy job (hello, potty training!) but it’s the best one we’ve ever had! But. I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s start from the beginning.
It’s hard to imagine now that it’s our life- but we never intended to breed french bulldogs! We bought our first little lady, Luna in 2016. Brandon made the trip from Albuquerque to Houston, TX to pick her up along with his cousin, who was buying Luna’s sister. Fast forward through a year or so of loving on Lu and our cousin was welcoming his first litter with Luna’s sister. By this time, we were a young family of 4 and our pups, running 2 businesses at home but the more our cousin told us about how breeding frenchies was more than just selling pups, we were interested! We saw how much joy it brought to our family and the families who adopted their pups. We started learning more about how to responsibly and safely breed french bulldogs and became more serious about the possibility. It sounds so cheesy, I know, but it’s true. We are a business, yes, and we pride ourselves on providing our “customers” with an experience that feels like family; BUT at the root of it all, the thing that showed us that this was the right path for us was our love of the breed and the desire to bring the same love and joy we feel, to you.
After welcoming Bellatrix to our family and a move to Dallas, Texas we welcomed our first puppies. And from the first time we held them, we knew this was our passion and purpose!
What makes us different?
Baker Built Frenchies is different from any other kennel because our dogs are our life and our customers are our family! We make sure that our dogs are always put first! Not only are they treated with the utmost respect (lets be honest- they live a better life than we do, LOL) but they are members of our family. Their health and safety are our number one concerns. They are the types of pups that are always snuggled up to us in bed or playing under our feet.
We treat raising puppies with the same respect and safety. From the time they are born our puppies are with us 24/7 and smothered in love. We screen every potential adoptive family carefully and will if we feel it is the perfect fit we’ll do all we can to make it our babies fur-ever home. Our customers are family forever and we are always here to answer questions, help with any issues, take in any past pups or just chat about how adorable and amazing your puppy is! We love to send and get lots of photos from birth until FUR-EVER!
